Hi! My name is Darlene Batwinski. I am the business owner of Kenosha Transcription Services, which is located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I have been in the medical transcription field for approximately 30 years. I have worked in various capacities over that period of time -- from medical transcriptionist, to Director of Internal Accounts, to QA/QC Editor, and Medical Transcriptionist Instructor.
We offer our clients a web-based, dictation-to-document process management system that is fully digital and HIPAA compliant (dictations and documents are encrypted using 256-bit security). Dictations are uploaded directly from your computer via a USB cable. Our clients receive full control over their documents. Examples include:
-
Open or view completed documents and save changes on-line
-
Print single documents or batch-print documents
-
eSign documents to have them permanently locked
-
Route rejected documents back to medical transcriptionist with reason for rejection
-
STAT files can be uploaded immediately to medical transcriptionist
-
Search entire history and view change history of your completed documents
-
Play the actual dictations right over your computer's speakers
-
Once printed or processed, move completed documents to "fnal" folder for archiving
-
Review audit trails of everyone who has accessed documents and their activity; i.e., all prior document versions are stored, including who edited and when.
Our dictation-to-document process management system takes the hassle out of managing your process -- from automatic downloading of audio files to specified medical transcriptionists, dictation routing, and document review and QA; plus, an electronic log of every event in the transcription process, from time of dictation to time of document delivery, and every document transcribed is available indefinitely via an on-line account!
Our system is HIPAA compliant and provides the technology needed for an ultra-secure environment. All user access to documents is permission controlled; plus, all document access is logged via an audit trail that tracks every document through the entire transcription lifecycle. Our system tracks a variety of data that helps in the management of the transcription process, such as minutes assigned per medical transcriptionist, start and finish times per document, and number of rejected files per client or medical transcriptionist.
